Description and Theme
This exhibition explores the complex issues surrounding freedom, responsibility, and the seductive nature of dogma. It celebrates the resilient human spirit through stories of personal growth and collective struggles for social justice and liberation. The exhibition also delves into the dangers of oppressive systems and the universal search for authentic living, purpose and faith. Each artwork invites viewers to engage with diverse perspectives and reflect on their role in creating a more just and meaningful world.
Materials and Methods
The artworks are created using a variety of acrylic paints on diverse surfaces, including canvas, wood, metal, and cardboard. The artist employs a range of painting techniques, encompassing realism, abstract elements, and graffiti-inspired styles.
Objectives
The primary objective is to create a space that fosters dialogue and inspires positive action. The exhibition aims to provoke reflection on how new or differing perspectives, when thoroughly explored, influence individual, community, and national pursuits of freedom or unfreedom.
